Situated on 80 Harley Street in Marylebone London, EC Aesthetic Clinic is a prestigious clinic with official accreditation from industrial-recognised technology. The clinic is also known to be one of the best aesthetic clinics on the renowned Harley Street.
We are looking for an experienced aesthetician or beauty therapist to work at our clinic in central London. Ideally, you will have minimum 2 years’ experience in the aesthetic industry, but more importantly, you will be hard-working and ambitious with a positive can-do attitude and proactive approach to the wide and varied role.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience with lasers, radio frequency, ultrasound, micro-needling, HIFU, advanced skin peels and advanced skincare experience.
About the role
The Aesthetician is responsible for providing professional skin care services, including facials, skin treatments, lasers and body treatments. This individual must have a strong understanding of skin care, dermatology, laser treatments, and skincare products and be able to recommend the appropriate treatments and products for each client’s needs. The Aesthetician must also ensure that all treatments are performed in a safe and sanitary manner and follow all hygiene requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional facial, skin treatment, laser treatments, and body treatments that clinic offers
- Recommend appropriate treatments and skin care products for each client’s needs
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed when performing treatments
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments
- Educate clients on proper skin care techniques
- Upsell additional services or products to clients
- To ensure all clinic procedures and data protection requirements are followed in relation to client records prior to, during and after appointments, including completion of medical history, consent forms and treatment notes.
- To maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times in relation to clients.
- To maintain working areas and equipment in accordance with health, safety, hygiene and general housekeeping standards at all times
- To keep the treatment rooms stocked appropriately with all the products needed for treatment.
- To report immediately to the Manager, any client complaint or incident and to keep detailed written notes of the incident.
- To assist with other clinic duties as required, including supporting other team members.
- Participate in company training programs to develop skills and knowledge offering a variation of services as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid aesthetician certificate
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or Level 4, Laser & IPL Treatments preferred
- Prefer 2 years’ experience in beauty and aesthetic industry
- Knowledgeable in the use of professional skin care products, lasers and aesthetic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent in Sales & ability to upsell treatments is a must for this role
- Willingness to learn more treatments to keep up with the growing aesthetics industry
- Ability to work with a diverse clientele base
You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to develop and retain a high-end clientele by providing excellent service and maintaining a professional attitude. Client care is of paramount importance for this clinic, as is discretion.
Job Type:
Full Time, permanent- To work five days per week
Clinic is open: Mon-Sat: 10.00 am – 8.00 pm (must be able to work every Saturday)
Salary: Up to £30K plus commission
