We are delighted to announce our new requirement for Aerospace Engineers for R&D projects, this is due to demand of our client’s component products and their growth into the Aerospace marketplace. . Experience at various levels is being considered for our engineering client based in Wiltshire. A range of positions and experience levels from entry, mid level to senior /lead, all permanent positions, Salaries commensurate by experience. Our client supports the energy, aerospace, automotive and defence sectors for design, development and manufacture of composite structures.
Responsibilities:
Working within the broader engineering team you will be involved in full cycle product launch of components from initial concept through to prototyping and launch into production.
Design and development of products such as carbon fibre wheels, rotor blades and components for power electronics, machines and drives etc.
Involvement in design of next generation rotor blades for the emerging AAM marketplace
Working on an assigned project which can range from Rotor Blades, CFRP Wheels etc
For appointment of a Lead Engineer, this would involve mentoring junior and graduate level engineers.
Skills and experience required for R&D Aerospace Engineers
Degree qualified or qualified by experience
Experience and knowledge in resin transfer moulding and tooling design of advanced composite materials
Knowledge of carbon fibre CFRP Wheels for rotating and fixed wing aircraft, Propulsion unit subassemblies and components for both electric and gas turbine flight and electric motor assemblies and components for electrified flight.
Varied levels of experience consider where you have worked in design within the aviation sector.
You will require to hold UK/work rights residency status
