We have an exciting opportunity to join our Advice and Complaints Team at South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation Trust. The post- holder will work within the operational structure of the Quality and Nursing Directorate and in partnership with the overall Governance structure to assist in the promotion of quality and safety to our patients.
You will act as an expert advisor on complaints handling providing support, advice and guidance to all levels of staff, ensuring that statutory and organisational requirements are met and that complaint handling delivers the best outcome for the complainant and the service involved.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to work closely with clinical staff and must be able to work autonomously and deliver to a very high standard.
You should also have a general knowledge of the NHS complaints procedure or have a minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar field such as patient involvement, customer services, or complaints management within the NHS or similar, and posses well-developed interpersonal skills and computer literacy.
