The Advanced Coach Developer is responsible for delivering and facilitating on the L3 Advanced Coach Programme, along with providing support and CPD training for coaches beyond certification. This role will have a direct impact upon coaches operating within the talent pathway and performance sectors, helping them to coach highly talented players more effectively. YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB IF You have a strong understanding of coach development You're passionate about facilitating and delivering coaching programmes and CPD You are committed to and understand a “blended” learning approach You enjoy travelling extensively throughout the UK You are reliable, adaptable, self-motivated and self-organised YOU'LL BE DOING Assisting with selection and management of L3 Advanced Coach Programme applications Supporting the Advanced Phase Lead through facilitation and delivery on the L3 Advanced Coach Programme Assisting with L3 Advanced Coach Programme assessments Providing post-course support to certified Advanced coaches Facilitating and delivering on CPD modules Supporting the Advanced Phase Lead in the delivery of training for coach developers Supporting the Advanced Phase Lead by carrying out reviews and updates of programmes and CPD Working with the Operations Lead and other support to deliver other coaching events Contributing to the leadership, strategic direction and management of the coaching department YOU'LL HAVE An ECB L3 or Advanced Coach certificate Expertise in cricket coaching Experience of talent pathways and/or performance environments The ability to support and challenge experienced and professional coaches A good understanding of learning transfer, plus the effects of pressure and effective coping strategies Exceptional people skills Excellent presenting and facilitation skills Strong networking skills The confidence, robustness and skill to present to groups of experienced and professional coaches The ability to organise coaches, presenters and facilities to create effective learning environments The capability to deliver hard feedback on an individual basis A current DBS certificate A full UK driving license and be willing to extensively travel throughout England & Wales IT literacy YOU'LL RECEIVE Competitive salary 25 days' holiday (pro rated) Private medical insurance Non-contributory 8% pension Life assurance 30% discount on New Balance items England and Wales Cricket Board
