ADMISSIONS MANAGER

KPS is looking to appoint an experienced Admissions Manager to oversee all aspects of the Admissions Department. Reporting to the Headmaster, the Admissions Manager will work closely with staff across all three school sites, prospective parents and students, and also line manage the Admissions team.

THE ROLE
The Admissions Manager will oversee all aspects of the Admissions Department. Reporting to the Headmaster, the Admissions Manager will work closely with staff across all three school sites, prospective parents and students, and also line manage the Admissions team.
Key responsibilities are detailed below:
•Report to the Headmaster and be responsible for the whole school’s admissions’target
•Managing the day-to-day admissions for the Lower School applicants (years 7-10)while working closely with the Sixth Form Admissions officer for 16+ applications,and overseeing the whole school’s admissions progress
•Overseeing and working closely with the Short Courses Admissions Officer onapplications for Easter Revision and Summer School•Managing, reviewing and updating the admissions process to ensure that allenquiries are responded to within an agreed timeframe, arranging assessmentdays and interviews, attending decision meetings, preparing offers and liaisingwith offer holders on acceptance of place
•Liaising with local prep schools to ensure they are aware of open days and eventshappening in the school. To attend Senior School fairs which take place at localprep schools
•Working closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure all admissions materials areupdated on a regular basis
•Working closely with the Head of Marketing to promote the school online for opendays
•To organise and conduct individual tours of the school for prospective parents
•Ensure all new student data is inputted correctly onto iSAMS
•Working closely with the UKVI Compliance Manager for any Child Student or visarelated applications•With the Head of Marketing, send regular communications to enquirers, offerholders and to new families due to join the school
•Preparing and sending our pre-arrival information, school uniform information andnew parents forms in a timely manner
•Working closely with the Head of Short Courses for Easter Revision and SummerSchool while managing the Short Courses Admissions Officer when sending outoffers, acceptance forms and payments
•Reporting to the Headmaster on recruitment numbers, showing updates on therecruitment target, and helping to prepare recruitment reports for board meetings
•Managing the Admissions Register and ensuring it is up to date and compliant atall times. Making the relevant notifications to the Local Authority regarding newstarters and leavers where appropriate
•With the Head of Marketing, arrange and travel to overseas events to representKPS and KPS Summer School
•Any other tasks deemed appropriate by the Senior Leadership Team
Person specification
Essential
An effective and confident communicator, possessing excellent writte and verbal skills
Proven experience of working in a professional administrative role
Strong IT skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Good people skills
Strong work ethic, proactive, punctual and highly organised.
Ability to think analytically, with a logical approach to work
Ability to work autonomously and to take ownership of tasks
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high attention to detail

Educated to degree level

Previous experience working in school admissions in the independent sector
Managerial experience
