Overview:

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for the recruitment, selection, and enrollment of the first-year and transfer class each year for the School of Arts & Sciences, School of Engineering, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts. Admissions is charged with meeting various enrollment goals across schools and programs.
What You'll Do:The Admissions Counselor is part of an admissions team responsible for recruiting, selecting, and enrolling undergraduate students.
The Admissions Counselor will:
- Assist in managing a geographic recruitment territory
- Read and evaluate undergraduate applications using the Committee Based Evaluation (CBE) model, and participate in selection committees.
- Conduct both in-person and virtual information sessions for prospective students, families, school and community-based organization counselors, and the general public.
- Contribute to project-based work in support of a portfolio such as communications, access and outreach, recruitment, selection, or others
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Candidates who have experience with CRM systems, particularly Slate, an interest in and/or understanding of data analysis, or fluency in a second language are encouraged to apply.
This is a hybrid role.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree- 0-2 years of experience in admissions, college counseling, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
- Valid US Driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a CRM, such as Slate
- Fluency in a second language
