Role Overview
Candidates will provide an effective and efficient administrative service to the line management team within the operations department.
Key Responsibilities:
- To complete weekly audits of all consumables, sending all counts to managers to ensure enough supply of each product
- To book in and out the deliveries and collections to and from the site. Ensuring all safety rules are followed.
- To log all operational hours into the Multi-Channel KPI report and transferred hours are logged within the correct timeframe
- To update and support the managers in filing and collating the data. Sending reports/ updates to required parties.
- To record the absence of colleagues and prepare Return to Work paperwork ready for managers
- To ensure that hours worked in the department are logged correctly via manual registers and update Excel spreadsheets
- To ensure that all departmental notice boards are kept up to date and that any briefs and announcements are displayed in a timely manner
- Support the operation in any area that you have been trained to work in.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Confident communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous Administration experience is essential
- High level of attention to detail with superb administrative and organisational ability
- Proficient with using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Previous working knowledge of WMS and Shogun is advantageous
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to use own initiative and excellent decision making skills
