Job description
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Bristol office to support the Directors and the wider team, to provide general office management and administration support. The role also provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to get involved in other aspects of the business.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a keen eye for detail, is excellent at managing multiple tasks and can work under pressure and autonomously. SEMP Ltd are a very busy Engineering consultancy so the successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective administrative support to the whole team.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the executive team with administration tasks.
- Diary management and booking meetings, and organising travel itineraries and logistics, as required.
- Maintaining the office environment to high standards - identifying and resolving issues raised and ensuring supplies are kept updated for requirements.
- Updating and maintaining paper and electronic records using in-house systems.
- Liaising with a variety of different management levels throughout the office, both in Bristol, Warrington, and our International offices, currently Canada.
- Take on responsibility for different projects within the office environment.
- Raising purchase orders and invoices as required.
- Accurately inputting and maintaining data into computerized systems as needed.
- Planning events and organising meetings and refreshments as required.
- Dealing with correspondence via phone and email.
- Meeting and greeting guests and clients.
- Preparing briefing materials.
- Producing reports and documentation for board meetings.
- Minute taking and ensuring action points from meetings are followed up.
- Creating PowerPoint presentations for use in internal and external meetings, conferences, and other internal and customer-facing events.
- Managing expenses and purchases.
- Supporting business development activities including marketing and bid preparation.
- Supporting Project Managers in project delivery.
About you :
- At least 2 years working in Administration.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, sharepoint would be an advantage.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills, able to tailor communications at different levels from day-to-day correspondence to board reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- A proactive attitude, as you will be working autonomously at times.

- A strong team spirit and eagerness to support your colleagues.

Salary
The salary for this role is in a range of £22,500 to £26,000 per annum DOE.
Working Model
Whilst we offer a hybrid working model, the ideal candidate will be within easy access to the Bristol offices (BS23), candidates will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week, and more as the business requires.
