Our client, an established and award-winning estate agency in South East London, is seeking an Administrator to join their team. As an Administrator, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of properties and clients, ensuring a high level of service at all times. They will also be responsible for assisting with property management tasks and responding to inquiries from tenants and landlords.
Key responsibilities include:
· Processing and managing tenancy applications and agreements
· Handling property inquiries, viewings, and negotiations
· Coordinating maintenance and repair requests with landlords and contractors
· Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
· Managing rent collections and arrears
· Handling deposit protection and disputes
· Building and maintaining relationships with landlords and tenants
· Providing excellent customer service to clients and colleagues
· Administering lease renewals and terminations
· Conducting property inspections and inventory checks
· Keeping up-to-date with market trends and changes in legislation
· Using relevant software and tools, including property management software
· Supporting the wider team with other tasks and projects as required.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
· Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
· Proficient in relevant software and tools, including property management software.
· A proactive and positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the company
