Tapi Carpets & Floors
Full Time Perth, Scotland 20000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Part Time - 20 hours

Who we are:

We’re Tapi, a flooring retailer with a difference, and we’re here to change the world (well… the flooring world at least). We’ve started a revolution and it’s contagious. In 7 years we’ve opened over 170 stores and with a flock of mobile showrooms buzzing around the country, we’re serving our customers like they’ve never been served before. We've rapidly built our position as number 2 in scale, and number 1 in service in the UK since we were born. And we’re not stopping there...

Our (not-so-secret) secret to our success is our people. We’re not just a company, we are one big Tapi family: where everyone matters. We work as a team, try to do the right thing, and are always on the lookout for ways to be better.

Your Tapi responsibilities:

  • Controlling all administration activities across the store.
  • Work together with your store team to “wow” our customers at every turn.
  • Support Store colleagues to meet and greet customers as they enter the store.
  • Provide top notch customer service, helping customers with their order completions, as well as post-sales questions and (very rarely!) escalating the odd complaint.
  • Keeping orders on track, regularly liaising with suppliers, fitters, and estimators.
  • Oversee the diaries of our Home Consultants, Estimators and Fitting partners.
  • Maintain control of company cash and daily banking.
  • Liaising with customers to keep them updated on their order (with a bit of Tapi charm thrown in!).
  • Undertake stock takes and audits on a weekly basis.
  • Always be on the lookout for new ways to improve our store, our service, and better serve our customers.

About you:

You’re super organised and love being at the core of business operations (in this case, our fantastic Tapi store operation!)

You’re naturally efficient, confident and conscientious, always ensuring things run smoothly. You’re passionate about what you do and go the extra mile to make the customer experience that bit better.

You’re a speedy thinker who’s nice to their core. A presentable, switched-on, and honest person, who brings a little joy to every interaction. You sweat the small stuff and have a “no customer left behind” attitude (we have a 5* Trust Pilot rating to maintain)!

“Teamwork makes the dream work” is your mantra as you understand that working together equates to the best results for our customers and for Tapi. With strong communication skills, you can build long lasting relationships with your customers, making them always wanting to come back for more.

You’re tech savy and have great attention to detail, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, thoroughly and efficiently.

We’re super supportive - on the job training is provided.

What's in it for you?

A chance to join a pension scheme.

Employee discount.

A bonus day off for your birthday.

Rewards for long service.

And, a chance to work for a business that is always looking to grow their people.

Apply today, you wont regret it!
