The role:
Here at Marlborough Highways we have a fantastic new position available for an administrator to work within our Traffic Management Team. We are looking for an experienced administrator with a strong background in working with spreadsheets and an eye for detail. The perfect person for this role will thrive in a fast paced environment and will enjoy working as part of a team, with great communication skills and an enthusiastic, proactive approach. Based in Little Waltham, Chelmsford, our offices offer a brilliant working environment with free parking and a whole host of unique benefits for our amazing teams.
The company:
Marlborough Highways is an established, independent and dynamic civil engineering company with 30 years of industry experience and expertise in public realm, regeneration and infrastructure projects.
We work with Councils, Local Authorities and Contractors in London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and the South East, delivering pioneering multi-million-pound trials and rollouts for large programmes and phased schemes through to smaller one-off projects.
Duties:
· Updating daily spreadsheets
· Generating order numbers
· Monitoring company in house procedures
· Creating daily job sheets
· Check invoices from suppliers
· Assist traffic management manager with all administrative support
· Keeping information accurate and up to date
Who we are looking for:
- Strong background in administration
- Experience in using excel spreadsheets
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time keeping
- Proactive with great communication skills
- Use of a car is necessary due to office location
