Job Description:
Department
The HR team is a global function based in both London and Houston, providing a full range of HR support to all EDF Trading’s offices. We are a collaborative and dynamic team that embrace the EDF Trading culture of working hard whilst embracing and enjoying the challenges of our roles.
Position purpose
The Administrator will assist with administrative tasks for the day to day operations of the HR function and be involved in key HR projects.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, this role will be responsible for a wide range of administration covering all areas of HR.
Your meticulous attention to detail and prioritisation skills will assist you in ensuring you are delivering on key operational HR areas and supporting the team.
Main responsibilities
- Undertake core administration for the employee lifecycle, including background screening, onboarding, references, change of terms letters and leaver process.
- Be the first point of contact for all HR queries, responding in a timely and professional manor to ensure the continued positive image of the HR team
- Managing the HR support email box
- Ensuring HRIS (WorkDay) is kept up to date
- Assist with the administration/co-ordination of core HR projects/activities (performance management, talent management, headcount budget, engagement survey)
- Assist with the co-ordination of training sessions
- Processing invoices

Experience required
- Strong Administrative experience
- Experience of working within a fast-paced professional services environment
Technical requirements
- Proficient skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Any knowledge of HR systems, especially Workday would be beneficial
