We are currently looking for an administrator to join our Linguist recruitment team. This role will see you deal with all of the admin tasks within the department. You will work within busy recruitment team, ensuring all IP requests are dealt with.
About the role
The aim of the admin and compliance officer’s is to ensure all of the Linguist Recruitment admin and compliance tasks are completed effectively, ensuring that queries are answered within a reasonable time frame and any non-conformances are actioned. Tasks can range from dealing with linguist queries, deregistering of IP’s, ensuring that all systems have been updated accordingly and completing ID badges for newly onboarded IP’s. We require an able multitasker to join our team and the ideal applicant must be a dynamic individual who can work under pressure, is a great communicator and takes pride completing a task to a high standard.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Dealing with IP queries that are sent to the linguist recruitment inbox on a daily basis.
- Deregistering linguists
- Updating our internal systems with any changes, such as Miton and DA link
- Making of the linguist ID badges, ensuring that these are completed correctly and posted out to the linguist within in a timely manner.
- Completing any reference requests that are received.
- Actioning any ad hoc admin tasks given by management
- Actioning any non-conformance issues to help improve quality overall.
- Supporting the linguists through the process of starting and renewing their security clearance
Qualities needed as a Linguist Recruitment administrator:
- Be enthusiastic, willing and show initiative where possible.
- Be able to work under pressure effectively and accurately and for prolonged periods of time.
- Keen interest in developing your skills based on the needs of the office.
- Collaborative approach to problem solving client requirements.
- Ability to learn and progress in an ever fast paced environment.
- Have an interest to develop your knowledge in the language industry.
- Be competent in excel and other Microsoft programmes.

- To be flexible to changing priorities
Decisions and Judgements
- Prioritisation of workloads at busy times
- Knowing when line manager needs to be informed of any problems/increased workloads.
- Decide when queries or complaints should be escalated to management.
