Job description
A Japanese trading company is looking for a part-time Administrator for their small office in the city of London.
The Administrator will work 1-2 days per week and 2-4 hours per day. The role would fit someone who is looking for a part-time opportunity or has a student visa which allows them to work those hours.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill would be advantageous.
TYPE: Temporary, part-time
WORKING HOURS: 1-2 days per week and 2-4 hours per day (TBD)
SALARY: £12-14 per hour, depending on experience
START: ASAP
LOCATION: City of London (Hybrid work, occasionally working in the office once a month is required)
Administrator MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Office equipment management
- Organisation of documents and filings
- General affairs, miscellaneous correspondence
- Reimbursement of travel and other expenses
- Support for some accounting matters such as VAT return, create and manage of inputting of deposit and withdrawal information
Administrator IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Administrative experience essential
- Native level written and spoken English
- MS office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good attention to detail, time management and flexible attitude
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Some understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language would be advantageous
