Milton Keynes Talking Therapies Service (IAPT) is seeking an experienced Administrator to join the team. You will be the first point of contact, responding to verbal, face to face and email enquiries to the service so excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
You will be required to provide high quality, comprehensive administrative support to the team using your excellent communication, organisational and IT skills. You should be able to work independently, using discretion, judgement and critical analysis where appropriate.
The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.
The successful applicant will be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes, and previous experience of an electronic patient record system would be advantageous. To act as Receptionist/Administrative support to the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies service (IAPT).
Responsible for the smooth running of the reception area, stocking leaflets, PHQ9 and GAD-7, ensuring that service users and visitors are dealt with in an efficient and friendly manner.
Responsible for the inputting of patient activity on to the mental health electronic record system (IAPTUS/SystmOne, in house created booking systems, booking telephone assessments, Diary Management of therapists, logging of referrals, archiving, Primary minute taker for all meetings, discharges, answering and transferring of phone calls, stationary stock management, making OPT in calls to patients, liaise with GP surgeries).
Post holder will work independently using own initiative to provide support and signposting to users of mental health services where appropriate.
Any other ADHOC administration duties required.
