Job description
We are on the lookout for a full-time Administrator to join one of the UK's leading Logistics businesses in Swindon. The purpose of this role is to provide efficient administrative and finance support, working with the rest of the Admin Team.
About the Administrator Role:
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm
- Based in Stratton area of Swindon (on main bus route)
- £23K per annum, rising to £24K per annum after 3 months
- Temp to Perm position
- Immediate start for the right candidate
Duties for the Administrator role:
- Raising Invoices & Purchase Orders
- Running weekly and monthly reports
- Reconciliation of timesheets
- Purchasing of warehouse consumables, stationary, workwear etc
- Booking hotel accommodation, arranging flights, trains etc
- Drug testing new starters as part of HR induction
- Setting up and booking of meeting rooms, including refreshments
- Handling telephone / email enquiries
- Welcoming visitors and taking deliveries, post etc
- Assisting other colleagues / departments where needed
Key Skills / Experience required for Administrator role:
- Good IT skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word
- Very high level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with people at all levels
