This post is best suited to a person who wants to develop as a clinician and as a researher on an international scale as we have live projects in Morocco, United Kingdom and Sweden.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and passionate candidate to join our small team, to work on clinical administration, managing daily patient-related activities, a range of innovative research projects and assist within our clinical practice. There will be opportunities to enhance your CV, and explore and develop your interests. You will be based in Glasgow and support delivering projects across the UK and internationally; we currently have projects in Edinburgh, London, France, Sweden, Morocco and South East Asia. Therefore, travel to our project sites may be required.
You will also provide personal assistance to a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, as well as general office administration for the greater team. The chosen candidate will support us in the delivery of research projects, private clinical practice, digital content (documentaries & YouTube videos), and many other exciting endeavours.
Tasks
- An expert usage of MS Word and Excel
- Prioritising and managing a complex and diverse workload
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of clinical work under supervision
- Assisting in the planning, execution of national and international research and clinical projects
- Liaising with international collaborators: e.g. academics, universities, governments, commercial organisations, public and private research institutions and healthcare providers
- Supporting our contribution to knowledge dissemination through attendance at international conferences and via our digital media channels (social media, digital magazine, YouTube Channel etc.)
- Meeting and greeting visitors to the organisation
- Updating the website (training will be provided)
- Personnel and recruitment related tasks
- Note-taking & transcription
- Adopting a variety of other tasks associated with the projects
Contract
- Rate of pay: £9/ hour
- A probationary period of 1-3 months
- Part-time position, will be shifted to full-time based on management skills

Essential Qualities & Skills
- Highly organised
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Research skills
- Interest in clinical practice
- Highly computer literate: strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Effective communication (oral, written & electronic)
- Adherence to data protection when dealing with confidential, clinical and research materials
Desirable Qualities & Skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Interest in film making, videography, editing, animation etc.
