Salary: £23,120 per annum, pro rata for part time £11,097

Hours: 18 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday

Come join our team working to help change the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in the Swindon area. Ranked by Best Companies as the 8th best charity to work for in the UK, we support survivors of modern slavery who have been abused and exploited, by implementing individualised plans and strategies to enable them to transform their lives. This service in the Swindon area is a female safe house. It is one of ten safe houses across England providing shelter and support to 133 modern slavery survivors every night.

We are seeking a confident and experienced Administrator with a wide range of skills and importantly, a ‘can do’ approach. You will be comfortable working independently and taking initiative. As the Administrator you will provide day to day administration /accounting for the service and secretarial support to the Service Manager. You will develop and update the office functions, making the best use of IT and electronic systems. You will maintain the petty cash system and complete the returns at the end of each month, ensuring monies are accounted for and documented accordingly. You will also support the Service Manager with administrative duties regarding the maintenance of the site.

You must have experience of working with database systems and Excel. Previous experience in an administrative/accounts position is essential.

This is a challenging but important and rewarding job because our team members know they are working hard to help transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable people. In our December 2021 survey, 91% of our staff said they loved their job. We offer generous annual leave, as well as a day off for your birthday and an annual volunteering day. We also offer an Employee Assistance Programme, Training and Development, Staff Conference and Employee Award Ceremony.
