An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Paediatric Team in the role of a 37.5 hpw Band 2 Administration clerk across both sites Bradford Royal Infirmary & St Lukes Hospital.
For this role you will work within a Multi-Disciplinary Team, and be responsible for various administration tasks including dealing with post, booking appointments on EPR, booking interpreters, dealing with telephone calls and general administrative duties, whilst ensuring that they are dealt with accurately and in a timely, polite and courteous manner. The post holder will be expected to cross cover colleagues as and when required.
Candidates should be literate and numerate, with excellent organisational, time management, IT skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team and to work without supervision.
You will have a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels. You will have enthusiasm, motivation and demonstrate pride in your work.
The job holder will provide administrative and clerical support across the service and the Division.
The job holder will deal with any administration tasks required by the Paediatric team, ensuring that they are dealt with accurately, in a timely, polite and courteous manner.
The job holder will have extensive involvement with the Paediatric Team across both sites to ensure that patients are treated in accordance with the Trust’s policy and procedures.
The job holder will be expected to contribute to the daily delivery of the service by ensuring all tasks required by the Team are completed in as timely and efficient a manner as possible.
It is expected that the job holder will contribute to the development of efficient and lean processes to ensure an efficient service.
