Job description
We are a small and young enterprise which owns and operates a number of brands. These range from healthcare, well-being, an HR platform to a handbag retailer. We are based in Central London. There is the potential to work from home from time to time, but its important that you become part of the team.
Knowledge of the usual email and word programmes is needed but you will also be working with suppliers who often use their own portals to update us on stock and sales.
The position would probably suit somebody with family (or pet!) commitments which means a full time position is not a good option. The part time position would be for 4-5 days per week with 2-3 hours per day. Exact timing to be agreed.
Our most important needs are for help to progress many aspects of our communication with customers, suppliers and to be able to liaise with our team to confirm meetings and to progress projects .
Your main responsibilities would be:
- Managing the diary
- Organising meetings with colleagues and events both online and face to face
- Contact with customers and suppliers, this is usually by email
- Preparing emails and information for sending out to customers and suppliers
- Maintain holiday rota
- Plan and book travel
- Updating our Xero system
- Ad-hoc tasks
Experience:
- Past experience assisting with admin in a business
- You must be a self-starter with the ability to be productive when working independently.
- Highly organised and able to anticipate calendar needs well beyond this week
- Proficient in desktop packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), mail and calendar. Tech-savvy.
- An excellent standard of written and spoken English
