About the role and our team
Join our team as an Administrative Officer at the Isle of Man Prison for the Department of Home Affairs!
In this role, you will be providing essential Administrative Services for the management of the prisoner population and will be performing various tasks to support the operational functions within the Isle of Man Prison & Probation Service.
Some of your duties will include:
- Maintain accurate records of both financial and non-financial information for the Prisoners
- Liaising with other agencies on Island to arrange appointments
- Checking and processing invoices
- Providing general administrative support including minute taking, organizing and preparing meetings at the prison
You will be joining our small and friendly team helping to deliver an excellent service to prisoners and to our teams. If you’re interested in the role, we would love to hear from you!

Please note a Standard police check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.
A full valid driving licence is required for this role.
A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
