Street Services are looking to recruit an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their busy Business Support Team.
Duties will include day to day interaction with business waste customers who are charged for waste collection services. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a business customer portfolio that will include responsibility for contract generation, billing and debt recovery, they will also be the point of contact for business customers within their portfolio. Street Services is currently included within a Digital Transformation Project that will see a number of administrative tasks digitised, the successful candidate will also assist with the administration and data element of the project.
The Business Support Team also provides day to day administrative support to the operational service that includes over 350 members of frontline staff, this support includes assisting with messaging and communication to staff, requests for uniform, equipment and supplies. The successful candidate will have experience of using electronic systems including the full suite of Microsoft Office. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, always dealing appropriately with confidential issues, is essential.
