HR Administration Team Leader
Salary to 28k – Walsall WS2, primarily office based but with hybrid working once bedded in
A fantastic opportunity to grow your career in HR for an enthusiastic candidate with previous HR administration experience. Operating in a shared service environment, supporting employees across multiple businesses, with diverse terms and conditions and working models, you’ll be the go-to person in the People Services team with a passion for customer service and getting it right first time!
You'll be the lead HR Administrator in the HR Shared Service Centre, consisting of 6/7 HR Administrators of varying levels of experience for South Staffordshire PLC where you'll help us to look after our 3000-strong workforce across the UK and abroad. Working with our brands such as South Staffs Water, SSI, Echo Managed Services, Hydrosave and more, you'll be processing transactional paperwork, setting up new starters, drafting contracts, setting up payroll and managing correspondence throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
About the role:
· Supervising the workload and performance of the People Services team.
· Taking ownership of all HR administrative tasks.
· Being the go-to person for the team with queries and support on more complex HR issues.
· Supporting and guiding employees on HR enquiries and requests.
· Maintaining employee files to ensure accuracy and compliance in line with GDPR.
· Ensuring the HR System (iTrent) is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation.
· Support with streamlining processes to improve efficiency and the overall employee experience.
· Play an active role in supporting the completion of projects within the People Service team.
· Helping to build morale and team-working philosophy.
· Driving a “customer-first” mindset.
· Building strong lasting relationships with the business and delivering an exceptional service.
What you'll need:
· Previous experience in an HR Administration role.
· Supervisory experience in an admin function.
· First-class relationship building skills.
· A customer service mindset.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Experience working on iTrent. (desirable)
