We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our accommodation team based at a dynamic Reception in O’Shea Hall student accommodation.
The Opportunity:
An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen to join the Accommodation Team (Property and Residential Services) at The University of Edinburgh.
This customer focused role will be based at O’Shea Hall student accommodation on our Holyrood campus, boasting a fantastic and convenient city centre location. O’Shea Hall is home to approximately 1200 post graduate student residents living across 8 varied, modern accommodation blocks.
As Administrative Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of a wide range of administrative and Reception services whilst supporting the daily operations of a busy student halls of residence. You will work closely and flexibly with the other members of the Accommodation Team to provide an outstanding service to students, helping to ensure a comfortable and secure living and working environment for everyone at O’Shea Hall.

Your skills and attributes for success:
- Experience of working in a busy customer service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to manage a wide range of operational and staff demands.
- Ability to plan ahead and work under pressure. Computer literate in a wide range of applications.
