IDENTIFICATION OF JOB
Working base Warwick House, Llandrindod Wells (with travel within England and Wales)
Temporary Contract Office based
Responsible to Finance Manager
Responsible for Any admin volunteers
Salary: £20,575 per annum (pro rata)
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays.
Pension: Enrolment into the NEST auto-enrolment scheme, currently with 3% minimum employees’ contribution with a 6% contribution from RWT.
Working Hours: 15 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements. Some evening work occasionally required for which Time Off In Lieu will be awarded.
Overall purpose
To make sure the office is organised, and daily tasks completed efficiently, helping with finance and membership tasks as required.
Main responsibilities
- Ordering goods and services
- Keeping the office tidy, managing recycling etc.
- Taking and submitting meter readings
- Maintenance of electronic and paper records
- Arranging the printing and distribution of RWT’s Newsletters
- Dealing with post in and out
- Liaison with membership, finance staff and volunteers
- Dealing with Info@ mailbox enquiries
- Answering the telephone
- Managing the telephone system
- Sickness absence recording and monitoring
- Any other administrative tasks

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
This role is suited to candidates with administrative, data protection and customer service experience, and knowledge and experience in using the below and with excellent results in GCSE English and Maths:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Outlook and Teams
Essential skills
- Some experience in an administrative role
- Ability to communicate well across different audiences
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good command of written English
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- A good understanding of data protection as applicable to the UK
Desirable skills
- Knowledge of Human Resources processes
- Knowledge of organising electronic filing systems
- Experience of finance and database systems
