Salary: £20,103 per annum (Pro-rata for part time)
Part time – 30 hours per week
Location: Bridgwater Campus
The area of A Levels, Creative, Technical & Professional Education is a diverse area of BTC spanning across education for young people, adults and Higher Education provision. The post holder will be engaged in ensuring efficient and effective administration processes are utilised to support the Area’s curriculum staff, working closely with the Executive Assistant and the area admin team, located across the Bridgwater and Taunton Campuses.
We are seeking someone who takes pride in providing an accurate, effective and efficient administrative service, has a positive attitude and can work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be confident in all forms of communication, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software and able to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally to represent the College. You will assist in organising College and student events and be proactive in your approach to all tasks.
The postholder will be based at the Bridgwater Campus and utilise technology to maintain communication with the teams they are supporting, however, they will sometimes need to travel between campuses to provide individual support or to attend in person meetings, training, or events. Occasionally, there will also be the requirement to work additional hours for which time off in lieu will be given.
