An exciting opportunity has arisen for an admin staff member to support Health Visiting Teams in the North East of Glasgow. The successful candidate will work in supportive teams, with excellent opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills.
The primary role of the post holder is to provide clerical support to the service.
The post holder will work within clearly defined protocol and procedures, adhering to Board policies e.g. Health and Safety, Data Protection and Confidentiality.
After initial induction and on the job training, the post holder will work with some supervision and guidance and assistance is available from Data Manager/Administrator.
The post holder will have an appraisal in line with NHSGGC policy

Previous NHS Experience
New employees will undertake an induction/training programme. This will be a minimum of 4 weeks depending on the department and location.
Post-holder:-
- must show competence in the basic use of computer packages evidenced by experience or formal qualification e.g. ECDL.
- must show knowledge of working in an office environment and of operation of office equipment and systems. This may be through formal training or work experience.
- requires good command of verbal and written English.
- requires knowledge of organisation and department gained through prior experience within the organisation, induction or short period of orientation.
Existing training and education will be supported by a period of orientation and induction to be completed within a period of 4 weeks.
