Job description
As our transport Administrator, you will be responsible for providing ongoing first-class administration support to the wider transport team.
Experience in transport and haulage is an advantage but not necessary as full training will be given.
You will be required to build key relationships with various people across the transport division such as our drivers, transport operator and key people from other departments.
responsibilities will include #commincating with any key internal and external stakeholders. This may include responding to queries and frequently asked questions.
Dealing with telephone queries and transferring of calls to the relevant people. #
Dealing with emails and EDI
Building of jobs for the transport planner
Debriefing and returning of drivers paperwork on their return to depot.
Booking in third party drivers.
Coordinating the transport office environment, ensuring that documentation is available on request, filing is well managed and accurate and making sure all up to date.
Scanning back of PODs and uploading on to the system.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £21,000.00 per year
