Job Title: Ecommerce and Administrative Assistant

Wyedean is a leading Military Accessories company known for its commitment to delivering excellent customer service and offering a wide range of products. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our team as an Ecommerce and Administrative Assistant. This role involves supporting the Ecommerce Manager and the office team to ensure the smooth operation of both our ecommerce and administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the customer service team by assisting with online and direct customer queries
- Implement day-to-day trading activities on the various sales channels, including the website, Amazon, eBay and Etsy
- Support the Ecommerce Manager in managing on-site activity, stock management, and content
- Set up new product lines and ensure the maintenance of the online product catalogue
- Ensure accurate display of product information and update product imagery as needed
- Build and maintain website categories to enhance navigation and user experience
- Monitor and improve listings on marketplaces to optimise visibility and sales performance
- Optimise on-site search functionality to improve search results and user satisfaction
- Photograph products to showcase them accurately and attractively
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and handling customer returns
- Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service
- Advise customers and offer support through various channels, ensuring their needs are met
- Assist with processing web shop orders and managing deliveries efficiently
- Maintain accurate product listings and inventory on the ecommerce platform
- Monitor and manage customer reviews and feedback to address concerns and improve satisfaction
- Collaborate with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions
- Upload content to social media platforms and engage with customer inquiries and comments
- Occasionally assist with office and general mill work tasks as needed
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in an Ecommerce or administrative role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Ability to make independent decisions to achieve business objectives
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms is desirable but not essential
- GCSE in Maths and English
