We have the opportunity for administrators to join our friendly and forward-thinking team.
The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be to provide efficient, comprehensive and confidential administrative services to the practice
Please note that the below is an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required for the role. The job holder will carry our any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager.
The purpose of the role is to:
- Correctly scan and file all incoming documents (both electronic and paper)
- Developing and maintaining effective electronic and paper filling systems, to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team.
- To provide high quality administrative support to the administration team
- Monitor email inboxes regularly and ensure that emails are responded to in a timely manner
- To aid the administration team with patient recalls for health conditions and vaccines
- Communicate with people at all levels when required
- Handle enquiries, taking & passing on detailed messages
- Communicate with other health care professional to ensure seamless patient care
- Engage with patients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their requests
- Flexibility to complete ad-hoc duties as and when required across all services
- Support the registrations team with new patient registrations and deductions.
Abilities/Experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Word)
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally – both in writing & verbally together with an excellent telephone manner
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a small team and be a team player
- Confident, positive outlook with a can-do attitude
- Strong record keeping skills
- Ability to multitask
- Emis & Docman experience desirable but not essential
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary: From £10.94 per hour

- Bristol: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
