We currently have over sixty pupils registered as having SEND and ten pupils with EHCPs. With such high need, we believe it is the right time to create a new role of Admin Assistant to the SENDCO, to ensure the effective delivery of provision to our children and their families.
As Admin Assistant in the SEND department, you will be working under the guidance of the SENDCO.
Your role will involve supporting the day to day, operations relating to SEND administration and will primarily include:
completing EHCNAs and related documentation for new applicants

taking accurate Minutes of SEND meetings
monitoring pupil progress against teacher data and compiling relevant reports
keeping the SEND provision map updated
Under the guidance of the SENDCO, you will liaise with teachers, support staff, parents/carers and outside agencies, offering and signposting advice and guidance, where and when appropriate.
The Collegiate Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers, online searches and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
