Watermark Holidays is seeking a proactive and hardworking individual to join our team as a Holiday Rentals and Office Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our holiday rentals teams, as well as assisting with general office tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good organisational skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally and provide excellent customer service via phone, email and in-person
- Assist guests in selecting the appropriate property based on their preferences, needs and availability
- Process bookings and payments accurately
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments and guest information
- Checking properties prior to guests’ arrival to ensure our high standards are met (please note this may require an element of hands-on cleaning/housekeeping)
- Manage ‘Your Welcome’ tablets and welcome folders in the properties ensuring information is correct and up to date for guests
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests throughout the booking process via email and phone, addressing any concerns or questions promptly and professionally
- Offer recommendations and assist guests in planning their holidays, including local attractions, dining options, watersports and other activities
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments and guests’ information using our booking management system
- Send housekeepers weekly arrival and departures lists to ensure properties are cleaned when required
- Submit weekly linen figures via online portal
- Create arrival envelopes ready for guests arriving for the upcoming week
- Allocate car passes
- Organise linen shed, store cupboards and help manage stock levels.
- Receive and unpack linen deliveries weekly
- Add and update properties and listings to AirBnB
- May include other duties
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including booking management software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly excel and outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Previous experience in a customer service or bookings role is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with online booking platforms and channels
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full-UK Driving Licence Required
