Job description

The School of Medical Sciences are seeking to appoint an Operations Administrative Assistant to contribute towards the successful running of the School office. The primary aim of this role is to provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support for various activities, and to carry out general administrative duties and organise and run events and to provide cover for the EA to the Head of School during periods of absence.

You will have experience of working in a busy administrative setting, will be able to demonstrate attention to detail and will have excellent communication skills. You will work in partnership with senior members of the professional services team, academics, clinicians, research colleagues and also our students to share best practice and undertake your own personal and professional development.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our School team but also be available to support other areas, across the School. We are always keen to evolve and improve our methods of working and you will actively work to support senior managers in achieving this objective. The role will also include supporting School events.
