The role
The School of Physiology, Pharmacology & Neuroscience is looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to provide administrative assistance within the Professional Services Administration office. This role is full time, based in the school office, Monday–Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 to match the requirements of the school.
What will you be doing?
This is a varied role, offering the right candidate the opportunity to learn and develop new skills by undertaking both routine and non-routine tasks. The role involves providing general office support including reception cover, dealing with post, organising meetings and events, dealing with ad hoc queries in a courteous and helpful manner, assisting with coursework and exam submissions and providing administrative support to our team of student administrators, and any other tasks commensurate with the role. There will also be some manual work such as making deliveries and collections, and work involving PAT testing and room inspections.
You should apply if
You will need to be proactive, flexible, motivated and able to multi-task with good communication and interpersonal skills. This role requires an individual with a strong focus on customer care and experience of working in a busy office environment.
