Job Description: Are you an experienced and dedicated administrator looking for an exciting opportunity in the education sector? We are currently seeking a Primary School Administrator to join our dynamic team at a reputable school in South Manchester. This is a full-time position with an immediate start and long-term prospects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the school, ensuring the best possible learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake general administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, maintaining records, and updating databases
  • Provide efficient reception duties, welcoming visitors and directing them as necessary
  • Assist in coordinating school events and activities, such as parent evenings and assemblies
  • Support the admissions process, including handling applications and maintaining accurate records
  • Manage school resources, including stationery, equipment, and facilities
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and senior staff to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations
  • Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and maintain data protection protocols
  • Perform any other administrative duties as assigned by the school leadership team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a school or educational setting
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data management
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications and database management
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with staff, students, and parents professionally
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, coupled with outstanding customer service skills
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures in relation to school administration and safeguarding
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Remuneration: This is a long-term position offering full-time hours, with a competitive daily rate of £76 to £95, depending on experience. We value our staff's contributions and offer a supportive working environment with opportunities for professional development and growth.
