We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide vital support to ensure the smooth operation of our office and contribute to the overall efficiency of our business. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, calendar management, and assisting in daily operations. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and directing inquiries to the appropriate department. Additionally, you will handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintain accurate records and files, and assist with data entry and reporting. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as you will be responsible for drafting emails, memos, and other documents. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, capable of multitasking and prioritising tasks effectively. Proficiency in office software applications and excellent organisational skills are required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the office.
- Organise and maintain filing systems.
- Answer telephone calls and take messages.
- Schedule appointments and meetings.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or office.
- Type letters, memos, reports, and other documents.
- Occasional cover in our Polhill Garden Centre Showroom.
Required Skills:
- High Level of Knowledge using PC and Microsoft Office Software, particularly Excel.
- Excellent understanding of Customer Service
- Highly Organised
- Great Time Keeping
Due to location, we do recommend being able to drive.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £20,998.00-£22,143.00 per year
