We are looking for an administrative assistant to cover for maternity leave with a view to a permanent role for the right candidate. We are a small and friendly team at a local charity and our work is both rewarding and fun.

Main purposes of job
To assist in the provision and coordination of a broad range of administrative activities to support the smooth running of the organisation, and the services provided in line with client demand and business needs.
Key tasks
Collaborate with administrative team members to maintain the online services and systems used by both clients and members of staff in the delivery of all our services.
Support budgeting and financial record keeping using Sage
software including accurate data input and data analysis of invoice procedures and systems.
Coordinate and track the delivery of services to clients whilst maintaining databases and records to organisational policies and procedures.
Manage all the logistical arrangements ensuring efficient deployment of staff when booking and confirming services provided.
Collaborate with team members to provide operational support for office activities during specific times e.g., holiday cover, and duties which include the maintenance of the office environment
Submit timely reports and prepare specific information and data where requested, and assist colleagues wherever necessary
Provide excellent customer service to all our clients via a range of different communication methods.
Adhere to all organisational policies including the safeguarding and
welfare of everyone, and good health and safety practices within the work environment.
Carry out ad-hoc duties as and when requested to all colleagues and Senior Management
Key skills and requirements
Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
Knowledge of MS Office, Video platforms and office management software, such as Dynamics and Sage.
Qualifications in Business Administration (L2, L3) will be an advantage
Reporting to the Operations Manager
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months
Salary: £20,319.00 per year
