Hours of work 12.30pm to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (could change to mornings during school holidays if suited). Annual salary of £22607 is pro rata for 37 hours (so for 22.5 hours the annual equivalent is £13747.50)

We are looking for an experienced and organised HR Assistant to join our busy team on a part-time basis (afternoons from 12.30 to 5pm) The ideal candidate will be a go-getter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work independently. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the HR department.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records
  • Prepare and distribute new personnel paperwork
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and termination processes
  • Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Answer employee enquiries and provide guidance as needed
  • Monitor attendance and absences
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities
  • Compile and analyse HR data
  • Perform other admin duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management preferred , although we would be interested in those qualified up to a level 5 relevant qualification with experience in a school, early years or similiar setting
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of HR best practice
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
