Due to continued growth in within Site Surveying Services, we are recruiting for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to work within our team based in our Clitheroe office. This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to learn new skills and help in a busy office environment.
First established in 1997, Site Surveying Services is a successful team of engineering surveyors who carry out a wide variety of services. From topographical surveys to elevations, floor plans, laser scanning, drone surveys and site engineering services to name a few.

Job Role –Administrative Assistant
Contract – Part Time
Working Hours – Up to 27 Hours (Flexible for ideal candidate)
Reporting to – Operations Manager
MAIN TASKS
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the office
- Serving as a main point of contact for Customers
- Answering calls and correspondence
- Ensuring deadlines are met
- Acting as a liaison between other professionals in the office
- Assisting with Payroll/Invoicing and general accounts tasks
- Maintaining stock supplies
- Arranging site visits
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
A good administrative assistant should have exceptional communication skills and a general positive attitude in the work place. They should be able to develop a good understanding of the work place, our clients and each site operatives needs.
As a minimum the candidate will have strong written, verbal and IT skills. They must also be willing from time to time visit out on site to gain an understanding of the work we carry out.
You must also be open to learning new software skills and in the future working with our CAD team to produce high quality survey drawings.
DESIRABLE
- GCSE grade 4 or above in mathematics and English.
- Candidates should be hardworking, flexible and conscientious.
- Good problem-solving skills aligned with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Strong work ethic and desiring to learn new skills.
- Full clean Driving Licence.
- Good IT Skills.
- Ability to work in small teams and able to use own initiative if working alone.
- Self-motivated and the drive to succeed.
- A basic understanding of surveying principals and construction.
Salary - £24,500 pro rata
Hours/days per week – 27 hours per week. Ideally 3 full days over the week, but this is flexible for the ideal candidate.
