Shoreditch Events is a London based bespoke event and party planning management company, with well-established reliability and resource at its heart.
Limoncello and River Thames cruises both operate under the Shoreditch Events name. Formed in 1993, Limoncello Catering is independently owned by Martin Sweeney, and has grown from a small delicatessen to a flourishing catering company providing for both private and corporate events, for small events of eight people, to numbers in the thousands. River Thames Cruise have been operating on the Thames for 20 Years.
River Thames Cruises can accommodate all types of Social Events, Family Gatherings, Weddings and Corporate Events. With our private hire options we can supply all types of catering from simple light buffets to plate buffets, barbecues, silver service, canapés, or bespoke menus.
Job Description
You will be working in a busy office supporting the team by answering phones and taking bookings. You will need to have good communication skills, be friendly and outgoing and have good IT skills to quickly and accurately enter information. If you like talking to people, being in a fast-paced environment and helping people, this role is for you.
We will provide training and support you with development.
Criteria
· The ability to communicate with a wide range of people in a kind, professional and caring way.
· Work effectively with colleagues as part of a team.
· A willingness to learn and progress with a ‘can do’ attitude.
· Effective IT skills are an advantage.
· Candidates will need to be comfortable with a flexible approach to tasks and be proactive in solving problems.
· Responding to both colleague and client queries
· Utilising other information systems to support efficient workflow processes.
· Emailing, scanning documents where required
· Reception or customer care experience is essential
· The person must be an excellent communicator both spoken and written
· Must have PC skills will be able to use basic Word, Excel and e-mail
