An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join the expanding Medicines Governance team as a Medicines Governance Administrator.
This role will be an integral part of supporting the medicines governance team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced administrator who enjoys working as part of a team and can demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high quality administration service.
The role will include coordinating and planning meetings, supporting projects and providing general administration support to the wider medicines governance teams. The successful candidate will have knowledge of administration processes, record keeping, minute taking as well as good communication skills and IT skills. We have ambitious plans for the future as we seek to meet the growing demands for our service to provide the care our population deserve.
Coordination and planning of Medical Governance Team meetings and resolving conflicting commitments.
Diary management, arranging meetings and appointments via the calendar system with the Medicines Governance team and all Trust areas as required.
Provide additional diary and meeting coordination to the Medical Governance Team, including the booking of venues appropriate to meetings and audience.
Provide administrative and coordination support to ongoing projects led by the Medicines Governance Team as required, including support for progress tracking and audits.
Deal with and draft responses as necessary to incoming correspondence including enquiries from various sources within the Trust; such as Operational Managers, Operational Team Leader, Medicines Packing Team and other Trust Staff.
To book travel and accommodation as necessary for external events/meetings.
General clerical work including printing, collating, scanning and shredding documents.
Assist with drafting bulletins and written communications. Proof read all communications prior to publication for spelling and grammar.
