Administrator – Thame based - £20,000 - £24,000 – opportunities to progress
Our Thame based client is looking for an administrator who wants a varied role. The emphasis for this role is on telephone and general office support and might suit candidates who want to build on their existing experience and progress down the line.
You will be working as part of a busy team and should have strong customer service skills and be happy using Microsoft and in house IT systems

Job Overview for the Administrator
This role provides support to the Account Executives/Managers across a wide-ranging group of clients and it also supports the Transport team. You will be helping to ensure the smooth running of the office and provide holiday/absence cover for the Account Managers and Administrative staff.
The successful candidate will be well versed in administration, communication, and IT, have a confident and positive style and be enthusiastic with a desire to progress.

Responsibilities and Duties for the Administrator:
Reception duties - Answering inbound calls to the office greeting visitors to the company site, opening/sorting inbound post and arranging/dispatching outgoing post, managing stationery and paper supplies for the office’ delivering refreshments to visitors.
General office administrative support - Carrying out daily tasks such as producing bulk dispatch labels from spreadsheets, producing single labels where required, chasing individual PODs or compiling POD lists.
Transport support - Answering inbound Transport Team phone calls and assisting the caller.
Account Management support - Working with the team to run key clients sometimes many at the same time.
This will involve client liaison via telephone and meetings. Working to tight deadlines on both tactical and longer-term projects from start to finish i.e. from quoting, planning, handling, analysis, reporting and invoicing. Multi-tasking and an attention to detail are crucial.
Stock control - Input / upkeep of company stock records via various Warehouse stock management systems
General Business Support - You will be required to support the business with additional projects and other adhoc work from time to time. Flexibility to move quickly from task to task is a key requirement

Working Hours for the Administrator:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Hours to be worked between 8.30am and 5.00pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
Salary & Benefits:
Circa £20,000 to £24,000 (dependent on experience)
20 days holiday per annum (plus 8 Bank Holidays)
