Applications are invited for an Administrator in RCA Estates. This is a full time and permanent role, reporting to the Estates General Manager. This role is based at Kensington with occasional travel to our other sites with a hybrid working of 1 day home/4 days office based.
Part of the RCA Estates Directorate, the Estate Administration team works alongside the Service Leadership Team (SLT) to support the Director of Estates Development, Management and Planning in developing and implementing the RCA Estates Strategy and annual work plan.
The Administrator will support the delivery, coordination, organisation and administration of the RCA Estates directorate supporting the Deputy Directors and Heads of Departments in providing an excellent professional service to the College and implementing the College and directorate strategy.
The role will span all elements of administration across the directorate, with a focus on the senior leadership office, to include finance management, procurement, supplier management and logistics in order to provide a safe, secure and productive campus environment for students, staff and visitors, to maintain and improve the RCA's estate, and to improve the quality of the student experience.
The successful candidate will be experienced in working at a relevant level in an administrative/business management capacity, and of supporting a senior team of technical subject matter experts. You will have experience of working in a busy customer-based environment with the ability to deal with a variety of queries and issues with tact and sensitivity, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the College, both verbally and in writing, and with a high degree of tact and diplomacy. High level of digital literacy and IT skills including productivity suites (Microsoft Office, Google for Work), project management/collaboration (Basecamp, Smartsheets), Web/Internet page production (Wagtail) and financial management systems (Unit4 ERP), and use of presentation and graphics software (Visio, Adobe, Tableau) would be an advantage.
