Leading Haywards Heath law firm seeks an Administrative Assistant for its Company Commercial department, also incorporating a high degree of property work.
Previous office experience essential, ideally working in relevant areas.
The successful candidate will possess a high level of organisation skills and initiative and be comfortable dealing with clients and other third parties. They will be numerate and able to communicate clearly and accurately.
The role is full-time.

Duties will include:
- Maintaining electronic and hard copy files in accordance with procedures, including their opening, closing, archiving and retrieval.
- Admin support including filing, scanning, printing, photocopying and dealing with post
- Liaising with clients and other third-parties via email and telephone and video calls or in person as required
- Diary management including booking meeting rooms, keeping diaries up-to-date and setting personal diary reminders
- Conflict checking and AML requirements
- Assisting with financial tasks including arranging payments, raising invoices and preparing completion statements
- Drafting, reviewing, proof-reading and amending a variety of legal documents and generally preparing correspondence of both routine and specialised nature
- Use of various internal and external portals and systems (e.g. Companies House, Land Registry, Dropbox etc)
- Residential and commercial property work will include: applying for property searches, drafting legal enquiries, reviewing loan documentation, drafting reports, drafting contract papers, drafting leases, drafting rent deposit deeds, drafting licence for alterations, drafting replies to enquiries and post-completion duties including submitting HMRC returns and Land Registry applications
