Our client is seeking two temporary administrative staff members for an initial 3-month period, with the possibility of a fixed-term or permanent contract for the right candidate.
Job Description:Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of current records stored in various locations on company drives and clouds, in different formats, and transferring them to a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet may need to be created from scratch and will require importing details and data
Collaborating with Commercial Sales Managers and Public Sector teams to gather any relevant information they may have and adding it to the spreadsheet
Conducting online research (e.g., government websites, Animal By-Product registers, Waste Carriers Licence registers, etc.) and inputting the findings into the spreadsheet
Making phone calls to customers to verify and update their current information as necessary
Examining weighbridge tickets and delivery notes to extract transfer station details for the spreadsheet. When a truck enters a site, it is weighed while loaded, and upon departure, it is weighed again when empty. The recorded information helps track the tonnage of the load dropped off
Creating a mail merge for all green waste customers and handling the administrative tasks associated with the returned paperwork
The objectives of this role are to:Compile a comprehensive list of customers with all relevant details, as we currently lack a centralized database for this information
Utilize the compiled data to create an accurate list of customer details and contacts for NPS surveys
Maintain a record of all green waste customers for efficient issuance of annual waste transfer notes through a mail merge process
Verify and update customer details in the CRM (Customer Database)
Serve as an emergency contact for customers in the event of on-site issues, requiring communication with drivers' line managers
Aid with any additional tasks required by you or the team
