Job description

List of Duties

· Administrative duties including but not limited to; taking guest inquiries via phone and email, updating guest files, responding to questions for all guests, forwarding questions to members of staff, processing new guest bookings.

· Proficiency in MS Office Programs and Gmail/Outlook

· Light bookkeeping duties such as quarterly expense reports and individual tour expense reports

· Develop strategies and online campaigns to increase search engine optimization and guest interest

· Prepare for all tours including but not limited to: guest information lists, bike lists for the Guides, booking accommodations, dinner reservations, sending confirmation packages, shopping for tour supplies (fruit baskets and snacks) and scheduling

· Ensure that all trip information provided to guides, including traveller information is up-to-date and accurate

· Maintain online and physical records of all guests via a master list, update tour calendar, create and maintain tour charts for Canadian tours, Croatian tours and some European tours.

· Ensure guest payment deadlines are scheduled and met

· Develop and maintain relationships with Innkeepers

· A high level of accuracy and organizational skills are essential to this role and the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Ability to work within tight timelines. Self-motivated

· Ability to think on your feet and to adapt to changing situations. Problem solving skills also required.

· Ability to work Monday – Friday with some weekend work required June to September inclusive.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
