About Our Client
The client is a market leading FMCG organisation based in Watford, who are currently looking for an Office Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an ideal role for experienced administrators, who are looking for a varied role where no two days are the same.
Job Description
As an Office Assistant your key responsibilities will be:
- Receptionist duties: meet and greet visitors to the office and ensure they are directed to the right place
- Ensure meeting rooms are prepared accordingly
- Provide refreshments and lunch where necessary
- Assist with updating and maintaining CRM/ ERP systems (SAP)
- Organise company wide meetings including conferences
- Assist with processing employee expenses
- Assist with travel arrangements (flights, trains, accommodation etc)
- Administrative support for the Marketing Director
- Assist in organising company events
- Ordering stationary for the office and ensuring stocks are up to date
- Ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will:
- Live locally to Watford and able to commute to the office at least 3 times a week
- Demonstrable administrative background
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, with a can-do attitude
- Able to work well independently and within a team
- Proficient using systems particularly Powerpoint, Excel, Word and SAP would be advantageous
- Able to work to deadlines and multitask effectively
- Experience working within a fast paced office environment
