An opportunity has arisen to work alongside the Managing Director of our well established, multi-award-winning Landscape Design and Build company – Northumbrian Landscaping Ltd.
The role will be 2 days a week, equalling 16-20 hours a week. It is required that some of the working week is spent at the office in Stockton, but there is the potential to work 50% or more, of the working hours remotely once successful training has been completed.
Requirements
- Proficient in all Microsoft programs.
- Able to use social media (Instagram, facebook) websites effectively.
- Basic understanding of Xero or a similar accounting software.
- Secretarial/organisational skills.
- Professional telephone and email manner.
- Able to commute to office.
Job Description:
- Assisting the Director with administrative duties – invoicing, estimates, pricing works.
- Management of the diary– arranging meetings, liaising between clients and Director regarding availabilities.
- Responding to and keeping track of emails. Flagging anything urgent with the Director.
- Tracking the status of current jobs and clients, being aware of and helping to assist with next steps.
- Dealing with the quarterly and end of year accounts – compiling receipts, helping the accountant reconcile expenditures.
- Keeping track of staff holidays, sickness and bank holidays.
- Arranging monthly wages.
- Social media management – posting regular and relevant posts to our social accounts. Responding to messages, comments and enquiries.
- Updating and reviewing company HS/HR requirements and highlighting areas of necessary change or improvement with the Director.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week
Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
