Job description
A vacancy has arisen for a Cardio-Respiratory Receptionist/Administrator. You will work at the centre of a busy diagnostics department, dealing with patients that suffer with heart and lung problems, supporting the clinic and administrative team.
The post is to provide a professional clerical and co-ordinated service to the outpatient department, to ensure that patients and visitors receive a friendly, customer focused and efficient service.
You will also provide administration support to the department to book patient appointments and answer patient queries in line with procedures to ensure the efficient running of the department.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is also close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, thus offering numerous choices for recreational activities and lifestyles.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
