National Centre for Domestic Violence is a Community Interest organisation that specialises in helping victims of Domestic Abuse and Domestic Violence obtain injunctions against their perpetrators.
Our Process Serving team predominantly deals with arranging service of orders, so once an injunction has been approved our Process Servers will issue these documents to the respondent.
There is now an opening in our team for a Process Serving Assistant, we are looking for someone who is highly organised, good eye for detail and able to manage multiple tasks at any one time along with having fantastic communication skills both verbal and written.
Your role will include:
- Obtaining copies of documents from court
- Arranging local Process Servers to serve papers on respondents
- Dealing with requests and queries from police, solicitors and applicants
- Following procedures laid down by Family Justice Council
- Maintaining our in-house database
The Process Serving Assistant will also be responsible for keeping the systems up to date, making sure all email enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
Hours: Monday – Friday position 9am – 5.30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £18,000.00-£21,500.00 per year
